Much attention was focused on our brakes as you can see we did a lot of lying around.
And of course we all had to supervise!
Next a front end alignment was performed.
Also a little tuning up of the horn, below a little oil and some cleaning up of the armature made the horn sound just right!
And finally for Larry's car a slight adjustment of the generator (remember push the third brush up to reduce charging and push it down to increase charging).
Randall brought just a couple pieces of his Model A for our tune-up day. Below you can see he is reaming out new bushings that he pressed into his front axle spindles.
Don instructed all of us that the proper way to ream bushings is to always turn the reaming tool in the cutting direction - never reverse the direction because this will dull your reamer and shorten its life.
We all celebrated fixing our Model A's with pizza out on Richard's and Vicki's picnic table for lunch. It was a great day and much was accomplished. Again Thank You to Richard and Vicki for hosting our Tune-up Day!!
