And others drove along Rt 17 and Rt 24 into Beaufort. We all met around 11:20AM at the Beaufort Town Hall before venturing off.
We had a nice showing of 5 Model A's for this trip and all performed perfectly. This was a 50 to 75 mile one way trip from our various starting locations. Some of the group went shopping and some decided to take in the boardwalk (and some found their way to an outdoor pub). We all eventually found that pub!
Of course after enjoying a beer at our outdoor pub, we headed to lunch around 1PM at the Beaufort Grocery Restaurant. Don't let the name fool you, this place is a very nice restaurant with a very interesting menu of various lunch items. Everything from Crab Cake Sandwiches to Gyro's.
After Lunch our group split up and some continued exploring Beaufort and others chose to head home. Afternoon thunderstorms had been predicted, but none of us experienced any bad weather. Another successful outing of the Coastal Carolina A's
If you are not a member, come join us at our monthly meeting the second Monday of each month at 6PM at Moore's BBQ, New Bern, NC. All are welcome (you don't have to own a Model A to join and have fun, just an interest in Model A's - you can always get a Model A later!)
